This is a wildly inventive book that had me hooked from page one! The beautiful unique descriptions, the humor and the twists and turns in the plot made it a really fun read. Definitely check it out. xx.
This book is hilarious and endearing. I actually learned quite a bit about some biblical/historical stories that I didn't know. You'll laugh and cry reading this book, I loved it.
Charming, hilarious, captivating fusion of modern-day young person love-angst in a fun fairytale monastary setting. And sexually fun and open too. Would be fun read aloud with an artistic date at a picnic. Found myself smiling, even laughing numerous times at the mind-bending descriptions. Really, really good. For the young elf at heart. Glad this new reality was created.
I enjoyed this original tale so much! I would characterize this style as subversive spirituality. The pacing reminds me of Tom Robbins--fast and full of informational details. Every word counts! It was fun to read and I finished it fast. More!!!!
